OK i think i know whats cosuing this... Soem users seem to have the habit of deleting their original question whan they gat the answer or some othererason.

Now this is all due annoying because then it appears all the aswers get lost too! NA d thets not realy in teh spirit of the forum is it.

yeah I've seen that. Its like some users don't want anyone to know they needed to ask or something. Maybe this can be adressed somehow when the new forums up ?

MAybe the system con anonymize them instead! I mean its ok i guess if all parties delete their posts.

Ist just annoying to type a long answer, melscript whatever for shares and then let someone delete it beccaiuse they didnt want to show they asked the question.

Se i sometimes do search teh forum for my own scripts just to update them.

It should be set that Limited users (our members) can have access to delete their own post as long as no response has been made or if the poster has realized his/her post was unnecessary. Once a member has replied to a post then the original poster should only be able to edit their post, not delete it. Deletion would then be left to the moderators or site Admin.

I agree, I recall seeing something someone posted that was giving me trouble. So I went to find it and it was gone, even though I know there was an answer listed. Its bad when people then start to ask the same thing over and over

Yes nothing is more enfuriatin thatn them deleting the question and thereby the answer and then they ask again.

Im pretty sure the answer will not change by asking again
