Still, only 2 seconds.. but a playblast is still a playblast (?)

I am going on the assumption that this is a piece for your demo-reel. Therefore, I based my crit on that fact.
Here's my rundown:
Here is your original image:
TV's will distort colors and crop the edges of an image. That's why it is important to leave extra space around ALL of the edges. This is what your image would look like on TV:
I don't want any of this t sound mean or preachy, but I'm not going to lie to you. Your piece needs work. At this point it's just a mediochre logo and a character. Anyway, you can blow off my critique if you want to, but if you do, then you're just going to cause yourself problems later on.
I hope this helps.

i love your critic!
Ill explain why, so far I was just working on the kid's animation.
The logo and it's textures are just ref. so is the lighting, its just something i put on before rendering, i wanted to see how the character looks rendered but with some enviroment.
I know all about the safe frames (I worked in a post production company).
The enviroment scene isnt finished yet, still working on it same for the logo, again, it was just to see how the character bends and transforms as hi-res.
Anyway, as a design student, I think your critic is right on the spot because you pointed out the exact areas that werent touched yet. good call man!
