hey sorry not much time.. I got to get my colleagues for lunch...
I just wrote a crappy little script for launching my UltraEdit via mel. (Not without the fabulous help of Joojaa again and again):
CODE
global proc string whatIz(string $command)
{
string $result = whatIs $command;
if (gmatch $result "* found in: *")
{
string $path = match "[a-zA-Z]:/.*$" $result;
string $nativePath = toNativePath($path);
print "This is a Mel-Proc!!\n";
// line number determination
$fileId = fopen($path,"r");
int $lineNr = 0;
int $procFound = 0;
string $nextLine = fgetline $fileId;
while ( (size($nextLine) > 0) && !$procFound)
{
if ( gmatch($nextLine,("proc" + $command + "*")) ) $procFound = 1;
$lineNr++;
$nextLine = fgetline $fileId;
}
// line number determination
system("start C:/programme/ultraedit/UEDIT32.exe " + $nativePath + "/" + $lineNr + "/0");
return $nativePath;
}
return $result;
}
Thanx ewerybody,
it worked!
