Sticking Nodes Between Noodles

So, I'm just getting into Shake after years of AE.

Anyhow, I have been going through the tutorials, and it says that you can drag a Node over a Noodle and effictively stick it in the Noodle. For instance I have a Layer Node connected to a Multi Layer Node. I want to stick a Color Correction Node inbetween them. The manual says I can drag the Color Correction Node over the Noodle connecting the two Nodes to insert it between them, right?? But it doesn't work. A coworker of mine, who has used Shake for a few months, couldn't figure out why it wasn't working either, as it seems to work fine on her workstation.

This looks like something that got broken in the 4.1 release. I just double checked 4.0 and this works just fine. There may have been a flag that is turned on or off in the nreal.h file, I will look into this.

Haven't tried 4.1 yet, but I read something regarding a change in the "insert node" behaviour. If I remember correctly, it should now work when pressing N while dragging the node over a noodle.

Give it a try and see if that helps.

The "n" option had no affect in 4.0 but does seem to cure the problem in 4.1
