Stop Pressure Graph Scaling With Min Max Clip

Is there a way to stop the pressure graph scaling over the stroke when you animate the min and max clip?

I am trying to animate a line that draws itself. The line looks like calligraphy, in that it has thin bits and fat bits which I control with the pressure graph. I'm tring to keep these pressure marks fixed in space (fixed to the curve from which the stroke was made). At the moment the thinner and fatter bits of my lines move relative to the visual length of the stroke as I animate min/max clip.

Is there a way around this?

That's slightly more complicated than I had hoped, but hey. One thing I noticed was that this method works for animating the maxClip but not for the minClip. Ho hum.

We are starting to realise that actually animating the pressure graph itself might be our best bet- fiddly as it may be.

Min and max clip animation tends to leave open ends to the tubes which is something of a worry, and at least you can control how the ends of the tubes are shaped to some extent with the pressure graph, or the width scale graph.

Never easy is it?
