Strange Marking Menu Issue

Hey again (sorry its that kind of night:))

If you have the script editor open, select a joint that is hooked up to an ik chain, and right click on the joint and hold, you will see it executes this code:

joint -e -spa -ch l_frontKnee;
joint -e -apa -ch l_frontKnee;

Mind you I haven't selected anything in the marking menu yet, so I don't think any code should be executed... I figure that if you right click, nothing should happen until you actually select something in the marking menu..

This is causing me a bit of an issue, because it seems to happen even if I am right-clicking to select the joint for weight painting... so when I select a joint, it seems to turn the joint a bit because it is assuming the preferred angle...

This is in Maya 7.0, and this is only the third day that I've had access to Maya 7. I remember reading something a while back where you can now turn joints while painting weights... but I have no idea how you do that.. and I am wondering if that is causing the issue... If it is.. is there a way to turn it off maybe?

Thanks again for all of the help in a advance!

Marking menus can execute commands with just click (thst how dynamic mms come to exsist). Depends on the code behind tha marking menu, its perfectly possible to build marking menus that work the way you tell them to.

Also its totaly possible your calling 2 things at once.

post some code for your mm. Otherwise its hard toi tell enything.
