Submissions Are Taking Way To Long

I've already msg'd him about this. This guy is notorious for submitting things to the wrong place or submitting the wrong thing and submitting it wrong. Its like he doesnt read directions at all. He also keeps trying to promote his site vs just uploading assets here, which is getting a bit annoying.

It looks non commercial.. I haven't noticed him pimping his site and certain not as heavy handedly as some.

What type of plugin did he submit.. somethign for Zbrush?

No hes not a bad guy. hes got most of the zbrush submissions on the site actually. Just like he submitted these brushes but only submitted a few and pointed to his site to "get the rest"... but I cant for the life of me even find them there. So i doubt anyone else can.

this guy is crazy dont even pay attention to him. pixologic had banned him and originally wanted me to ban him too, but i figured as long as he doesnt cause troubles and we check that his programs are non destructive we are ok.

yes i was gone for labor day.. in 9 years no one has ever complained about the response times. but then again i do have someone actually try his stuff where as with most mel scripts i dont test each one before approving...

Ahh well that explains alot.. why'd he get banned from pixologic?

I got varying stories. They said that he was causing all kinds of issues they even spoke to lawyers, he apparently was personally threatening meats mayers or something. They wouldnt go into detail but said he was crazy and they didnt want him associated with zbrush at all. At that time the only thing I knew of him was he submitted a script that was actually a script... thats when they contacted me and wanted me to ban him. So I told them id watch him but I didnt feel it appropriate to ban someone from this site until they do something negative here. At this point he has submitted quite a few scripts and some tutorials. They are probably mediocre, but lets face it we arent getting too many zscript submissions. So ive put up with his weirdness and try to respond very little to his rants.

weird indeed.. I bet it really gets under his skin that we have banners with meats work in them epsecially when he browser flakes and puts the banner in the middle of the page.

okay well I guess I can expect more bitching from this guy in the future. I was just reading some of his other posts and he more or less threatens to post bullshit about this forum on other forums.. although I'm guessing it would take too long for said other forums to figure out where the BS is really coming from.

It probably won't make any difference but is there a disclaimer on the upload page declaring that uploads are not automatically approved etc?

Interesting... Well his atitude is a bit off.

Yeah the upload page says that all uploads will be tested and approved by moderators and are "usually approved within 24 hours".

It amazes me how people dont read things... after a file is approved they are sent an email and a private message that gives them the link and describes the ability to delete and edit/update the files. Yet in the last few days we had 5 submissions that were actually updates, so I had message each one of those guys and explain the update process just as it was sent in the private message and now they used the update.
