Suggestion For Pm Spam

Make it so that a user must have at least posted 1 time on the beoard to send PM and even so it takes 24 hours untill he can pm.

Just an idea.

yeah the problem is this fucking board system. we are so crippled by it for everything we do. as soon as we finish the new site progress will be so much easier. we can write anything we like in 10 minutes. like limit 10pms a day, write an admin panel to see top pm'ers etc. all in minutes. this system is FUCKED -- we are almost done with the new one.

Ok, Sound fab. Hey can anything be done about support for typographers quotes. Sees to me ist a big problem as people TEND to copy paste text form their office application that do this kind of smart markup, for nicer layout.

Atleast 2 posts every week have this porblem, currently even more. They all get cut up like this:

I'm thinking Where the ' is replaced by the backwatds curling dot that gets killed? Just becasue i see this a lot. Besides its the correct symbol for the job by the way.

its because the type set in the database. Unfortunately if we switch it we loose lots of old data.

believe me, i think i turned grey hair due to these forums and their freaky bugs.

all this stuff will work fine on the new forums - these are all bugs.
