Just a word of warning for those considering installing SUSE Linux 10.1. There have been several reports of YAST & ZENworks bug related issues (ie: application crash, repository refresh in infinite loop, etc) though only experienced while on KDE. While not a Gnome fan I have to admit this release has been improved for SUSE Linux 10.1 which is more streamlined than KDE as well more logically laid out for applications. This is possibly due to Novell focusing more on Gnome for their Enterprise line. Anyway the only issue experienced on Gnome that was also the same bug found on KDE was with YAST giving the error "digital signature not valid" for Gnome and Packman repositories which is false due to the digital signatures are current and match. These bugs have already been filed at https://bugzilla.novell.com/index.cgi If you find a new bug please post your issue in the bugzilla forum for Novell to resolve quickly.
