I am trying to figure out how the symmetry map works but maybe I'm not using it for what it was created. I am assuming that if I have a symmetrical character, lets say a man for example, I can modify my envelope weights for certain bones and the opposite bone would get equally weighted in the opposite points of my model, am I right? maybe not at all. I followed the help but it just explains how to apply and set up rules wich i allready did but any changes i make in the right side of my enveloping does not reflect in the left part of my character. I'm I doing something wrong? or this tool is not intended for this kind of job?
