Text In Shake

Hello All,

I have a quick question to address you.
Is there any macro ,script which I can use in order to produce the text typing effect in Shake?
What I want is to type a text but I need the letters to appear one after the other as I type along.

I don't know any macro for that, that is not what shake was build for.

But you can cheat with a matte in a fade wich reveal your text, i ve done it before.
Or render your text pass in aftereffect wich have all that kind of stuff, or apple motion to.

I have tried using Final Cut Pro HD which worked allright for the time being.
I will check out Motion too.

like fxnurbs said, that isnt really what shake is made for. any text in there is for general on screen notes and such, but you have given me a really good idea for a sweet little macro haha. i will have to get on that and see what i can do
