Hi,
I have a set of old scales which I have built I have added a texture to the object but I would like to add several different areas of rust ( which I have pictures of )onto various parts of the scales. Also I want to add a bump effect to the rust then add a bump effect to the whole of the scales so that there not perfectly smooth. Then I need to add a dirt texture to the scales so that they actually look old.
I have applied local textures for each individual rust spot because the texture projections go right through the object onto the other side. Also when I come to apply a bump texture across the whole object it doesn't affect the local textures.
Also what are my options to get the bump map to snugly fit the whole object will this have to be manipulated in the texture editor.
What I'm really asking is how do apply four different texture that overlap each other onto an object and each with bump maps that fit snugly. If anyone could just point me in the right direction of a tutorial please.
Thanks
