Tga Vs. Png In Maya

PNG is compressed along the scanline, and png standard defines a trasparency channel whereas the tga format deines a auxilliary channel (more or less the same thing different behaviour)

Also Tga is limited to 8 bpc where PNG goes up to 16 bpc.
