I can see from your post that you either have not used Cinema 4D at all or have been using it occasionally, without getting to know it. With posts like the above one you're mostly showing off your ignorance and thus doing a bad favour to yourself.
Well thats true, but ne cant actually make good assestment ofsoftware based on little use. That is also you can probably not amke a qualitative comparasion fo C4Ds capabilites in return compared to all other apps.
Im not disputing the originals posters missgivings but you show them too.

while keeping it user friendly
user friendly = has major limitations. If it wouldn't have then it owuldnt be precieved user friendly bacuse others can do stuff you cant wich does not instill friendliness.
So in way user firendly is to ignore the all niche solutions and provide just teh one adequate thats good for 80-90% of people. ONLY the rpoblem with that is that 10%-20% of everything you do YOU fall between the cracks.
Second ease of use comes at price, not needing to understand. While its gorgeous for many things. ITS horrible once you run out of the paved path since then you have not acquired any tools on the way. So in way a syetm that requires you to learn as you go is easier in the real end of the day.
Its a buit like building a slope up the mountain sure its longer but the trip up the mountain is hard even if the trip to the mountain is easy without the ramp. This is unfortunately a trade off. That can not be easily solved.
