The incredible vanishing mel script?

A few months ago I was looking on Highend3D for mel scripts, and was pleased to find that there was one that makes Maya's Script Editor display various parts of any script you may be writing, especially mel commands, with a nifty "type sensitive" color coding spellchecker, which greatly assists in the script writing process. I thought this was great because when I used to dabble with Visual C++, I was used to that sort of thing and really got to like it. Unfortunately, I didn't download the script at that time, which I should have, because now I can't find it on this site anywhere. I can't remember exactly what it was called, and all of my attempts to search for it have failed. Does anyone know about this script, and can they tell me where it's hiding so I can finally download it? Thanks.

I don't recall any scripts that do syntax highlighting in the script editor. There are some files for download here on highend that are syntax highlighting setup for UltraEdit and TextPad and maybe a couple other text editors. I personally use UltraEdit because I like the highlighting options a bit more than TextPad. If you are doing any decent amount of MEL scripting, these are worth the $30 investment.

Do a search here on highend for "syntax" and it should give you hits.

There's an editor that is fairly powerful and best of all it's free. It's called Syn and highlights many different languages. Download it and use the C++ highlighting scheme
