hi all, we know that the maya in linux won't output a playblast in avi form, i would like to ask if there are some libraries or binaries in linux that i could use for my mel script to convert the image sequence to avi when i playblast. i am using the latest version of centos.

GUI:
blender3d(Sequence mode), latest official release has ffmpeg built in.
avidemux2, only for short sequences, maybe only support 1K- frames.
cinelerra, doesn't support access sequence directly, you need create a image list, then load the list.
CUI:
ffmpeg
mencoder
Maybe ffmpeg is what you need.
