Hello lovely Creative Crashers,
I'm experiencing a render problem with a toon shaded model. I've created a paint effects outline with a line width map, and now Maya crashes every 4 renders. That is, it can render 3 times with no problems, but then it crashes on the 4th one. Same behaviour for batch and single-frame renders.
Some info:
The model is UV mapped.
Problem goes away as soon as I break the connection to the line width map.
Problem is not with a specific frame, since the crash always happens on the 4th frame from whichever one I start on.
I've tried with .png .iff, .tif, .tga, and .jpg file formats. With .jpg it doesn't crash, but instead just ignores the map completely. All the others crash.
Has anyone experienced this kind of problem? Any ideas on how to fix it? I'll greatly appreciate any and all suggestions!
