I have a toon shader that I did that works great. Except it doesn't work properly on flat angular objects. eg. a house; what winds up happening is when it sticks the 'outline' on the house it paints the side of it completely black. I'm assuming this is because of the nature of the shader. I tried out some toon shaders that other people made and they're all the same.
So I'm wondering, is there any way to make an 'ink' like outline for an object where the outline would appear outside the actual model, as opposed to the traditional toon shaders which put the outline inside the geometry.
That's it.
p.s. maya vector is a slow piece of crap so don't bother suggesting it.
