Toon Shape in Maya

Hi,

When applying Toon Shape to geometry, the outline can been seen through plains that have PNG's as textures. Please see the screen shot as an example.

Jpg's work fine but I was hoping to figure out why this was occring for png's

Hi Emily,

This comes maybe a bit late but have you tried to use Targa's instead of PNG. Targa's also have the abillity to use Alpha and is ussually more stable than the other file format's you have mentiont.
