Transfer Lattice

is there any way to transfer a lattice from one object onto another?

OR

is there any way to transfer a lattice shape from one lattice to another lattice with the same number of points?

I have made a detailed latttice deformation but now i must swap out the geometry multiple times with updated models... so im wondering what the process or best workflow for doing this is?

you can add new geometry to any deformer using the "deformer" command

to add geo..

deformer -e -g nurbsCylinder2 squash1;

to remove geo..

deformer -e -rm -g nurbsCylinder2 squash1;
