Ok, I'm admittedly new to the trax editor but from the docs it seems relatively straightforward. I'm trying to use the trax with baked cloth. Specifically trying to blend a cycle. So, let's say I have a sphere, translating and rotating with joints, I bake it, get rid of the bones, now I attach some cloth, like the anim, bake that as well. Then I create the character set and put 2 clips on 2 seperate tracks, one is absolute, the second is relative. Whether I do a blend or not it doesn't matter, the baked cloth stops completely in in trax (couldn't resist) and the sphere blends beautifully. Now I do realize that the channels in the attribute editor for the cloth show only translate, rotate, typical xform stuff, so since it's baked it's not seeing the x,y,z position coordinates of every vertice of the cloth, (which I think I should see)yet, the sphere(to make it simple) was baked with the exact same bake settings and it's just fine. Blends the anim into a nice loop. My initial thoughts were that it's the baking, which is why I baked the "sphere", to test. So it seems to take baked goods quite well. I also made sure to bake out my solver, so the cloth solver is not in the scene. Stumped! But then again, since I don't know the trax well, it's probably the most obvious solution. So what's the deal? Anyone?
