I need to quickly animate multiple rigs doing the same dance as a source rig.The rigs are pretty similar, same naming scheme with only minor details different(like one has a hat, others have pig tails, etc ...) They are also rather complex, with ik switching and blend shapes etc...
I have been able to create character sets from each rig(selecting all rig controls > create character set. no sub characters...)
and can import a dance move clip from one character to a new one, seems to work pretty well.
The problem is that each new charcter requires slight tweaks to get the animation to look right:for example, the hands firmly on the hips of the source character are floating slightly off the hips on another character, or another charcetr's foot needs to be rotated a little more...
I'm trying to figure out the best (time efficient) method to add small tweaks to the animation, once I have imported the clip. Right now, I'm reduced to "activating keys" on the imported clip to get them in the timeline, and going through and manually correcting each key. Ideally,I'd like to have a single set of key frames to "offset" the source animation...can I use a second clip to do this?
