Hi,
I recently bought a couple of interior scenes and realized that the only format provided was '.max'. I tried exporting FBX / 3DS / OBJ formats from Max and bringing them into Maya, but the geometry is all triangulated. The Mesh > Quadrangulate option in Maya doesn't seem to work wonders either. How do I ensure a quad geometry output from Max?
Seeing that both programs are from Autodesk, one would assume there's an easier, more straightforward method of sharing formats, but nope.
Also, I'm using a student version of both programs, are there any known limitations to exporting geometries?
