The Camera-LensShader:: True_lens_emulator.Preset (from ..phenolibspdlsoft3dreal_camera.len.spdl)::::::

i tried all variations with the True_lens_emulator - but it wont render any geometry distortion - (even with the fisheye checked on. )
what i see in the rendered image is only some deflection of secondary rays - but no geometry distortion (deflection of primary eye-rays)
how i can get this baby to work? anyone here was successful ?
i know - i could fake the fisheye-effect with a little trick - placing a small refracting glass convex-spheresegment-poly in front of the camera
- but thats a "unclean" trick and produces extra-rendering-time -
whatfor i got this suppra-non-working camera-lens-shader in xsi?
- exactly to do this: deflecting primary eye-rays - : WHY it wont do its job??
