This first one is a wheelchair I modeled in 4 hours. My question is, first, are there any critiques on the model, and second, should I go into more detail with the model.
The second is a kitchen I modeled. No reference photo was used with this one. Should I do some beveling of edges? Detail is soon to come, I would like to hear your makeup of ideas.
I hope I have it set up right for image apperance.
I just have an observation on the second model. Actually, its the images in the window or on the pane itself.
I would make a cyc and have the images outside the window a touch, placing a light sorce behind the image. Also the images them selves do not coorspond well with each other.
Yes. The image planes outside the window are actually several large units away. Both of the 'cityscape' images are the same, duplicated. So they should corrispond perfectly, as they are from the same picture. I agree though that they look like they are ON the glass.
Actually, the cityscap images are for pure temp placement.
Wheel chair look snice.. I like the shading in the kitchen but overall the proportions seem a bit short.. the countertops could be 6 inches taller I think. I dunno.
the back of the wheel chair looks a bit faceted to me. i would up the rez a bit on it, other than that it looks pretty good.
Do some real world measurements of things in your own kitchen to make sure your proportions are correct. As was already said, things seem a bit off. Also i would bevel some of the edges on some of the surfaces, they catch more light that way and it adds visual interest.
