We are working with assets handed to us by the client, but we're having trouble because their files appear to have some locked render settings that we cannot modify in the Render settings window. It is preventing us form rendering the frames we wish.
Problem:
/ Error: file: C:: The attribute 'defaultRenderGlobals.' is locked or connected and cannot be modified.
Right click>unlock in Render Settings doesn't work.
the only way I can actually change the frame range is with
Window>Rendering Editors >Render Flags. Frame ranges in the Render Settings window will update, but remain locked.
I would prefer that Maya behave normally rather than use a unique method for these assets.
Is there a simple MEL command to unlock all attributes of defaultRenderGlobals?
