Hello there. I've spent a few days scratching my head and trying to find something about it, so now I think my best bet is to see what some other people have to offer in terms of help on it.
I've been attempting to modify an object ported from 3dsmax to maya in some manner by another individual (either by obj or filmbox plugins). It appears this model has all of the texture information (UVs, what texture its using) fused into the model itself. UVs seem to not exist in the editor despite indications on the model they do. More interestingly, it also ignores new projections, which prevent the ability to set up a new layout required. What is going on with this and how do I undo or fix it?
