Upgrade from GeForce256?

Hi there folks.

I'm using a ASUS V6600 GeForce256 card with Maya and the 12.10 nvidia drivers, artisian works fine, painting works fine, modeling, almost everything is ok, except that whem thumbing camera with paintFX things got pretty slow.....

So,

I'm thinking about buying another card (Geforce2/3 or Quadro2), will any of these card handle the slowdown caused by paintFX????

According to the AW qualification charts the following cards should have no problems

nVidia GForce2 GTS, GForce2 MX, Quadro, Quadro 2 Pro, Quadro 2 MXR

Drivers
NT4.0: 4.001381.0646, 4.0.0
WIN2K:4.001381.0646
