oh , then cloth works fine . I thought you were looking for tips on how to avoid probelms . You simply can not creat cloth as good looking on your own , its very easy to use . though I'd give it at least 200 frames at the front of your animation to settle on your character before the animation . Keep your poly torso as light as you need to acheive the look you want . I just give these tips asuming you're not on a highend super computer . I have done some cloth things , but not a full on animation as yet . so i speak from just testing it to see if I'll be using it soon , and I sure will . Do a scene with it first before you plan the whole animation based on it , it wouldn't be that much of a time comsuming thing . But take Chris's advice on that tape and get a sewing book , it really does follow tradition methouds of building clothes .
anyway , hope that helps at all . I'm sure you'll get some cloth gurus posting their thoughts.
