Using Deep Paint v2 with XSI

Has anyone had any luck importing .obj files into Deep Paint 3d v2 from XSI 3? I can import them fine but I can't seem to paint on them...are there any settings I need to be aware of?

Uh, been a while since I used Deep Paint. You have to assign an image in the color channel if I recall correctly. It's one of the tabs on the right hand palette I think...
