Does anyone knows a way to automatically create UV set where every (square) polygon is mapped using the entire UV space thus all polygons are overlapping?This is how the Maya unitizeUV function work.It is similar to tiling the texture but what if in certain case (mine is such) someone wants to to map all the polygons of a grid so they use same UV coordinates?And no scripting involved.Thank you.
open the netview, under Render you'll see "Texture tools".Use the "Fit to Quad" button, but it will only work if the polygon is a quad. Triangles will not fit into the UVspace area.
