I'm having trouble with UV shell borders inside the polygon mesh.
I have checked the mesh thouroughly. The polygon edges are merged in the normal way.
When, I move a single vertex at the problematic edge, the surrounding polygons change in the right way. So it is not, due to that it would be separate meshes on the different sides of the edge. Because it isn't separate meshes.
I have tried a lot of different way to remove these UV borders. I have used UV merge and sew UV's, but none of them work on these borders. I have sewed a lot of other UV shell borders in the model, but at these few edges, sewing doesn't work
How do I make the shell borders disappear?
I want to remove these borders because they cause problems when I bake textures with Mentalray Global Illumination and Final Gather. At the shell borders, darker unnatural looking areas appears in the baked textures.
Is there another way to solve that problem maybe? Without having to remove the shell borders inside the mesh.
