I have always taken a UV snapshot out to a tga file and brought it in to Photoshop for editing. In the past , when I opened the tga file, I would get my UV Layout on a transparent background. This allowed me to lock that layer and put it on top when painting. I just upgraded to Photoshop CS and when it opens the TGA file, it is no longer transparent, but has a black background. Obviously not good for putting on the top layer. I take the same file and open it on another system with Photoshop 6 and the background is transparent.
Has anyone else run into this? Is there a photoshop setting that I need to change?
