Value Is Out Of Range

Hello,
I'm running Maya 7 on a mac OS X. And this really wiered problem just popped up.
When I try to open my option window for Bevel Plus I get this error message

// Error: Value is out of range: 3 //

I can still bevel plus, and then change the settings in the channel box, it's just really annoying.
Anybody know what's going on here?

option value have changed from previous version, and now no longer valid. Turn on line numbers in the script window and see where the error is coming from. set/save the option var that is out of range

I'm closer now...but still just a bit lost.
It says rge error is at line 332 and this is line 332

optionMenuGrp -e -sl ($localIntValue-1) uType;

so should I mess with the -1 value? I'm kinda afraid to mess with these values.

No, not the -1.

The line above retrieves the current value of the optionVar,

$localIntValue = optionVar -q bevelPlusPolyTypeU;

bevelPlusPolyTypeU has probably has the value 4 stored from somewhere. Probably in your Prefs.mel file that you can edit to set it to the default value of 3 when Maya isn't running.

my adminstrator, actualy just wiped my pref file. but that did get it working again.
