I have a pretty low end system on which i generally use combustion for rig removal etc. I have moved over to using shake and have it running on linux redhat 9. There are problems with the GUI due to openGL.
Thinking of buying a new video card for 99% 2D work and am looking at the ATI FireGL Z1-128 which is the max budget i have to spend.
Is this a good idea or is there a better alternative?
