Video Playing Problem

i render my video using quicktime with animation(1.88 gb size) & then i export video with the help of quicktime pro in quicktime jepg2000 so,i get best quality in 190 mb but problem is video is not play smoothly they stop, jump&skip some frame.
so tell me what to do.

this problem got on every pc from 256mb ram to 4gb ram(i check on my friends pc).so, i think problem is in video not in hardware.and this is bad technology bcz 190mb files gives trouble.

Its the speed of the hard drive that's coming against the wall. Technically the computer could cache the data but in practice it does not.

You can attempt to alleviate this by putting the video on disk that can esnure the file one continuous block in disk, the jump often happens when the dirvehead needs to re seach the next part of the file thts elsewhere. And normal defrag deoes not actually attack this big files defragmentation. So what he computer sees is no problem streaming this form disk, but then because you couldn't fit he file in one continuous block it gets to jump.

can i fix this problem by
*changing any codec to compress high.
or *video converter to convert from one format to another.

Yes some streams are more temporally compressed resulting in easier read chunks, and less bandwidth.

But if this is the kind of stuff you work with regularly you should consider buying faster disk and maybe raid them.
