hi,
i have a voodoo 5, amd athlon 900mhz and 128mb of pc133 and windows 2000 pro. I downloaded the "a taste of Maya" to see how it would run on my comp, but the result was terrible. Fatal errors, debugging and othere things keep me from even navigating the controls. I would like to get this program to run correctly on my computer, so if you have any ideas i would appreciate it.

my guess would be its your video card
the voodoo cards last i remember did not support windowed opengl only full screen and maya needs windowed

i got the 5500 to work with maya on susi but havent tried it with windows
its issues with the voodoo 5 and opeb GL when running maya /.
Form what I have heard , maya and voodoo is a big problem. better not even to try it.

alright, thanks for you help everyone. guess this 62 meg download gets tossed in the recycle bin, (and there it goes!) man, i guess im off to buy a new video card when i get some ca$h, spankin!
