Hi,I'm trying to create light patterns at the bottom of the ocean from refraction of the water. It is very difficult to experiment on caustics because of the render time. Is there another technique i could use like the capt Nemo shader and can anyone show me how it works?
How about this:1. Place a spot light.2. Use Light/FXDirector and then use the Projector shader.3. You will need to supply the shader with a texture that simulates "water ripples" that caustics would produce.
