Watery Eyes

I was wondering if anyone out there could give me a few pointers or known websites, to help me a acheive really watery eyes, like the ones on snakes or other reptiles. The Stephen Tubbit one is great for humans but I just cant seam to get that almost glassy feel I need.

Stephen no disrespect intended on this your eye tut is great as I said, just need to squeeze out a little more wateryness (excuse the pun)

I think your looking in the wrong direction, to get more of a wet feel to the eye, you need to enhance some other areas, for example, play with the specularity of the actual geometry that makes up your tearduct area, in fact, don't have it as part of the face geometry, model the tear duct seperartely so you can modifiy it seperately from the face object, now the main thing to really give your eye a watery feel is to actually model the water in, grab the leading edge on the bottom eyelid and extrude up very slightly, and again, move back slighlty, and again and move back again, 3 times should be enough if you are doing this low-poly to convert to subds or smooth them, now texture those new faces like water, that way you will get the small water line that forms at the bottom of the eye in all people, and really enhance the look overall by doing so. Hope that helps a bit.

ps. you may also want to add some sort of falloff/facing ratio shader to the cornea too, so that from certain angles it will look wetter.
