Hello there
I have a strange problem with 3DS Max , which I have just started out on, but please bear with me because I can't actually explain what it is exactly I don't know the word for what you would call it.
My attempt is that it looks like some sort of weird screen refreshing problem where it freezes a frame and then the next frame gets stuck over the previous so it looks like a mash of pixels.
Here is a shot in 3DS Max with me just drag adjusting the view ports sizes .
Now if I just move the camera in 1 of the viewports it goes back to normal however it just keeps on happening over and over whenever I'm doing some sort of editing.
Example 2 : Sometimes this problem only affects part of the screen which isn't actually having any sort of rendering/editing happening over it. This picture im dragging a vertex to the edges of the window and it looks like it pushing the white unrefreshed part away.
Example 3 : another application that has the same odd problem. The Crysis level editor. On opening the material editor window. Each texture is made up of a bunch of materials and each material component is in a separate window wrapped on a cube/sphere whatever. But of course, they have that same damn problem as in 3DS Max
Here's the thing about this problem. I can't narrow it down to what could be causing it.Maybe its not even some weird refreshing problem? I have tried updating graphics drivers. Could it be My windows Vista OS? Graphics Card (Geforce 9800gt)
Millions of thanks If you can think of a way to fix this.
