Who Has Time To Optimize This New Render Test File?

Hey Guys,

Scott Spencer was nice enough to give us a model to use for the new maya render test. Its in Maya 7 binary. I wondering if someone can:

1. convert it to ascii so older versions of maya can use it
2. id like to put some sss on it or put it in a box with reflections or something else that will take the render to at least 10-15 minutes on the fastest systems out there. We want to make sure that whatever it is, uses processing not as much ram.

We've had tons of emails about the render test since we took it down... so eager to get it back up but no 30 seconds renders this time Any help appreciated.

Why is it accomoanied by a map file that does not realy contribute at the end effect? IT seems the alpha is washed out faar too much. BUt thats beyond the point as the object has no uvs?

Anyway would be better if people transportted ma files because atleast thatway i could fix it if its in the file.
