every time i move uvs in uv editor it gives warning about not being able to move objects in 3d veiw. and there appears to be lag every time i first move uvs. does anyone else have this problem. it makes it so tedius. no matter how fast the machine is. is there some setting im not doing? because i have a feeling it has somthing to do with the error message.
Cant say its lagging for me. You can turn varning message off. But it shouldnt realy impact speed at all.
it takes about three seconds after i intitialy move the uvs, it just chokes up. then it moves fine after that. you dont get the message? how do i turn off the varning message?
Open the script editor and look in its menus
Anyway it might be a gfx card glitch of somekind. Or possibly its because maya may nee dto reload the image for the background wich may or may ont use a overlay pane (a feature wich gasmer cards DONT have, so they must do it with software)
oh did you mean supress warning messages? i checked it and the error is still there (its purple in the command line at the bottom). i dont have the image showing in uv editor so i dont know if thats the problem.
Is there construction history on this object you are trying to edit the UV's of?
no, i did delete by type construction history on it. but thanks.
this is gfx-board dependant i guess. try to maximize UV-editor when editing UVs.
