Why Does My Fluid Keep Accelerating?

Hello,

My fluid is acting strangely. I emit from a volume emitter a burst every 20 frames as in a turret firing. The first second and third plumes look and act fine, but then everything starts to accelerate and goes crazy and the fluid also dissipates rapidly when I have my dissipation set to 0. Has anyone else had this acceleration phenomina?
