hi i have Maya 2011 and like some older scripts plugins 2008-2010 will they work for maya 2011?
Plugins need to be recompiled against the new binary.
Scripts in general do work, or atleast in theory. 50% of scriptwriters do not enforce the contract between api maker and prorammer and thus are prone using interfaces that autodesk never promised would stay intact. This is a valid tactic tough, but that means that about 10-20% of the scripts out there break because the conditions under which they were made have ceased to exist.
