Will Opengl1.3 Running On Linux F5 Support Shake4?

There is no such thing as a Matrox Radeon. Radeon is made by ATI. If you are refering to an Ati card, then I wouldn't bother. Their linux drivers suck.

You're right, there isn't. How did I make that dumb mistake? I meant Matrox Millenium P750 128MB.

It turns out there's a new driver (and BIOS) that supports DX9 and (more importantly here) the latest OpenGL. So maybe it will work. But will Shake run on a dual monitor?

Shake runs on dual monitor by spawning the viewer into a separate window and putting it on the second monitor. Matrox has pretty horrible 3d/opengl performance. Spend $50 on a cheap nvidia card and throw away that POS Matrox.

Damn, I may have to. Shame though because my p750 is currently configured as a triple monitor - two convententional spanned monitors, and one regular TV. It's very handy for previewing genuine TV output, like for seeing if text is going to be readable, or to spot moire patterns. Why don't nvidia do triple monitor cards?

I could get around it by adding a PCI-express video card (even two of them) but my mobo doesn't suppport that, and I hear that PCI-express introduces latency issues...

They do offer that. Just get a dual monitor card with a svideo out on it.
