Win to Mac for render

Hi. I have been using Maya on a PC running under Win2000.

I was just wondering if it is possilbe to just install the renderer or something on a Mac so I can render out files on my G4 while I work on the PC?
Does it cost extra to use another renderer?
Do I need to buy special "Mac" software?
And most importantly, is it even possible?

Unfortunately, neither the hardware nor your license will allow it. If you wish to render Maya scenes directly (without conversion), your only option is to purchase Maya for Mac.
