anyone know how to fix this type of error

I can not finish the setup of window 2000 i get a blue screen with this error

I checked support.microsoft.com it looks like a checksum error. Which means something in that file doesn't match what win2k thinks it should. this is ussually due to a bad CD; bad sector onna disk; or what have you.
You might can contact microsoft to get a new CD; or if using a reproduction from your IT folks; you can ask them to make you a new one or for the original media.

Just a thought, but I had a similar problem when I set up my latest system, it turned out after a long process of elimination that the error was generated by a bad clip of RAM.....which was functioning correctly in part but not completely, hence the difficulty in spotting the problem.

actually yeah; I had a similiar problem once before as well.
removing the offending dimm solved it.
But in the event of good memory; its probably a dead CD.
