Wire thickness?

I have just discovered the hardware render buffer and the nice wireframe renders. But is it possible to change teh wire thickness... (the color I change by assigning the object to a layer and then change the layer color... any ther ways?)
...or do we have to use the wireData plugin?

You can change the color of the wireframe by adding the objects to different layers (as you did), you can also change the color in the Drawing Overrides or in the Settings/Preferences Color menu.

One way to make the wireframe thicker is to only use the alpha from the rendered wireframe and then grow it by any number of pixels in your composting program.
This is not always a good way but you can try it, it should work on stills.

ok... thanks... but I try to make some motion renders. Anyway... I will use the WireData.

I had to create some wire frame aniamiton for TV and the Maya hardware render buffer won't work for me due to the size of the wires ( tv doesn;t handle lines less than 2 or 3 pixels arcoss--NTSC) so i used Create Wire v1.2 script.
Saved the day.

yeah... I have downloaded the script but could not use it properly. could you please give some more details about this. thanks alot for your advice. WireData seems a little odd to me. And the hardware render buffer generates very thin wires. I will use the final render for TV. So I need more tha 3 px. thanks.
