I am currently testing the suitability of Combustion with Cineon files. I am using Combustion V1, windows NT. Does anybody have suggestions for a smooth trouble free workflow. I realise Cineon will be a lot slower to work with, but is combustion really suitable for this purpose and if so, what are the ways to maximise the workflow for these files ?For instance the Cineon colour converter, what is the best way to incoporate this into the workflow.

Check out Combustion 2! VERY cineon friendly!http://www.discreet.com/products/combustion/
I recently finished a 35mm project with it. (a couple short shots with FX and compositing). The cineon converter worked well for me, but I did quite a bit of homework to assure myself that it would work.
email me any questions you might have. I'll do my best to answer.
