Xbox 360 Bundles Selling Out

Wow, even the 2000 dollar rediculous xbox 360 bundle offered by Gamestop has sold out at this point. Geezus

I wish I knew how many launch units are avaible but I'm shocked people are putting out that kinda cash for this at this time of year. Guess the economy isn't bad for everyone right? Gas prices? Eh, not a real burder if people can drop cash on something like this right? haha, sorry I'm just surprised...having seen the demo at Best Buy, one of the few places to have any the first week since they did not take preorders, its very very impressive. I'll probably be getting one myself after the hype has died down.
Makes me want to buy a decent tv first...

Anyway, I think MS will be very happy. If anyone knows the numbers at launch , let me know

its really a rare option in the US, like maybe a handful of areas, where you can get away with not having a car.
I just read its one car for every 4 people in the us.

Yeah i know... thats the freedom of cars you can only go where the road takes you and you need to use it to get anywhere

Anyway the public trasport works quite well here. Theres no part of the 4 city area i cant reach in one hour by public transport at a rate of about one eurp per day. I cant much top that no matter what i do And i can go out with my buddies whenever i like and not bother about the car

We here 1/4 globe away have about 2.3 million cars (not cunting the 0.3 mil busses and lorries) here in a popuation of jsut above 5 mil so id say we can top that figure

I think it has to do with the oldest people who grew up with video games from when they were kids are now around 30-35. So there are a lot more people with disposable income that spend money on video games then back when the ps2/ps1 launched. M$ was really smart in this respect and realized that where parents won't spend $2k for giant game system package for their kids, a 25-35 year old person can and will.

they are limiting the supply to make it look like its selling out. retailers had to apply for limited numbers of available units.
